Message: Always good deals, large produce section, great sandwiches. Beer/wine/liquor selection is plentiful. Large butcher station with wide variety of meats.

Message: I think Safeway is the best grocery store in Kihei. They just did a recent remodel and updated the look of the store and it turned out very nice. There is a ton of parking. There is a nice floral section and it is a place to grab a lei if you are in need. Stop by for $5 Friday to find some good deals. It is the place I go in town to look for deals on meat and stock up the freezer when I find a good deal. Stop by the deli and the hot food section and try the salt and vinegar chicken wings!

Message: This is a very friendly, efficient, and clean branch of Safeway. Much of the yogurt section was demolished however at 5pm on a Tuesday, and it was hard to find plastic produce bags in that section; so score is 4 instead of 5 this time. Even though it was. very busy there was still ample parking, carts, and relatively short checkout lines.

Message: Perfectly reasonable grocery store with a good selection of products. As is the case at most Safeway stores, it's fairly basic and isn't very inspirational. Aisles are a bit narrow when it gets crowded. It is also expensive for what it is, although using the "Safeway for U" loyalty card or app unlocks some savings and gives access to member prices. It's free to join.

Message: We were looking for halal or kosher in Maui. found halal frozen Saffron road chicken Tikka masala, Biryani, pineapple chicken etc at this location. They actually had some variety between kosher and halal in that section. Overall store looked well stocked and buy. Prices are reasonable for island. Good job management.
