Mrs. Barry's Kona Cookies

Message: Cookies are legit. Very delicious! I bought two dozen assorted boxes and one dozen bag yesterday. Unfortunately only ten cookies in my dozen bag.. and realized it after leaving Kona. She counted twelve but it was actually ten. I paid for less. It's so sad since cookies are so good.

Message: These are crispy type cookies. The peanut butter ones are amazing! The others are good. The cashier was very friendly with quick service.

Message: Cookie were so good we went back and got 6 dozens. I think that explains how good it was.

Message: Cute little bakery. They are currently only allow 6 customers into the store at one time so be prepared to wait your turn. It looks like they also have a staffing shortage so it truly is small batch cookies only at the moment.

Message: Well, the bad news is that you’re never going to want to eat any other shortbread cookie again. Ever. THE GOOD NEWS is that these cookies are amazing. We bought 1 dozen on a trip from Kona to Hilo, and every flavor we’ve tried (so far! ) has been fantastic. The shortbread is buttery, crisp, and so full of flavor. It melts in your mouth. I could’ve eaten a dozen of the chocolate dipped ones, because they’re so decadent. We also loved the Kona coffee chocolate chip, although tragically, we ate that too fast to snap a picture of it.. The owner, Mrs. Barry, was so lovely and kind. We really enjoyed talking to her! Stop by, get yourself lots of delicious cookies, and give this sweet shop lots of love! Mahalo, Mrs. Barry!

Message: We went there one morning and jokingly told them we were getting breakfast cookies. And when returning to the car we "sampled" one of the Coconut Shortbread cookies.. OMG! They were so good! Lightly crisp and then melts in the mouth. We continued "sampling" rest of the bag of "breakfast" cookies. We ended up going back two more times before returning home.. We weren't sure if this place was a retail shop since it was in an industrial part of town (at the bottom of the hill below Costco), but it's lagit. They have a nice retail location and at the time we visited (Jan 2022) they were only allowing 6 in at a time because of Covid.. Love this place and highly recommend. They're in a perfect location for those visitors on their way to, or from, the airport. My favorite was the Coconut Shortbread and Mac Nut Chocolate Dipped. Personally, the chocolate dipped may be a little sweet for some people, but still amazing.. Thanks Mrs. Barry.. hope to see you again soon.

Message: Love their cookies Its evwnmbetter after 2 days when its soft. Just warm it up in the microwave for 2 seconds and its like it just came out of the oven. Any of the cookies they have ia really good specially with cold milk.

Message: Awesome cookies! It’s not a huge store, but they have a good assortment of cookies. And the have bags of specific cookies, variety pack, or you can customize your own bag. We particularly like the chocolate shortbread and the white wedding balls. The parking is really tight, because it’s next to other business. But there are street parking that is free.
