Message: Bought red velvet cup cakes. Got 30 cup cakes for my daughters baby shower. Didn't care for the icing or the cup cake. The person who took my oder was very nice. Good customer service.

Message: Friendly staff, quick check out times due to self-checkouts, but the placement of some of the products in the store can leave you searching for products.

Message: Small but nice. The people were very friendly. Prices are lower than ABC but higher than Walmart. Pretty normal pricing with the exception of the “Smart Water” which was $28 for 8 bottles.

Message: Run of the mill grocery store. Prices are high, unless you have a Safeway Member's Card. I spent $36 on items tonight, but it would have been just over $45 without the card. Store is clean, workers are helpful but at night the parking lot is rather dark and people drive fast through it. Not that it is in a bad area, but poorly lit lots can lead to making yourself a target. Recommend this store, I shop it when I can.. Update as of 7MAY22: Masks no longer required. No restrictions of any kind. Things are back to normal. The bakery is still pumping out excellent food. Lots of Mothers' Day flowers to choose from! Update as of 7JULY22: No big changes. Bakery is still delightful and produces tasty food.. Update as of 9OCT22: No major changes. Still good selection of items. I still recommend getting a Safeway Card so you can save money.. Update as of 3FEB23: Still the same good old Safeway.. Update as of 6APR23: Same Safeway. Good bakery and bakery items. Prices are reasonable.

Message: Ok so I have 2 issues. 1. What is there like 8 cashier isles in this store? Yet there was only 1 open and a line of people standing in self checkout area. I just can't support this automated process. What happened to go old customer service and employ people to do a job? Frustrating at best. 2. Would have been a better experience if I was able to use my rewards. Shelf completely bare of the product. Some boxes stacked in the isle yet to be put away, but none of this signature select, which I believe is store brand product, was there to even buy. Pointless to have rewards if I'm not able to use them when I'm there. Had to go to a different store just for that item. Very very frustrating and I'm beginning to think there are better places to shop. The fresh fruit, veggies, and rewards are the only reason I really shop here to be honest. However not being able to use rewards, and I KNOW of other places to get cheaper fruit and veggies. Plus who knows when the next truck is or when the items will be restocked. We shall see.

Message: Extremely nice and helpful. You do have to exchange your driver's license to use the handicap cart but it's always nice to have one If you're disabled.. I was very tired and a lot of pain and they were extremely helpful and kind.

Message: Same same not much to say. Clean nice stock of products.

Message: Dropped in on Monday 5/9 to pick up a small cake for my nieces birthday. Just needed a real small cake to sing Happy Birthday to her, because she wanted cheesecake. (Bought that too! ) The cake was affordable, and so was the cheesecake. The bakery artist was so very helpful, and was able to write on the side of the small cake that I got for my neice.. Safeway always has deals on Friday's, and sometimes during the week. Kapolei Safeway is a good place to shop..
