Message: This KTA Super Stores is a friendly local store. I could see and sense of the Hawaiian local always when I visit this store. This store sells fresh vegetables and meats, and fruits as well. In addition it is good to buy some sushi roll bento from this store when I travel distance.

Message: I've been going to this KTA regularly for more than 14 years. It is my grocery store of choice because of the freshness of the produce and the friendly, helpful staff. They are all great and have become friends - but today, I was blown away by the "over the top" service provided by Koby. While checking out, I was chatting with the staff, as I often do, then grabbed my bag and headed directly to my car. I always park so that I can make a fast get-away, and since the parking lot was only about 3/4 full, I was able to make that fast get-away. I was only about 3 cars away from pulling onto Palani, when I heard a "tap tap tap" at the window. It was Koby - holding my fresh basil - and even though I had spent a little more than $80 today - it was really the basil that had been my only NEED! Koby recognized that the basil was still sitting in the bin after I had left the store, and rather than just blowing it off and figuring that I would be back if it meant that much to me - he instead ran out into the lot and tracked me down! Thank you, Koby - you are a great fit for my grocery store of choice and with a service attitude like you have - you'll go far!

Message: The biggest and best (IMO) grocery shop in town.. Pro-tip: go early in the morning and grab the local catch of the day.. Poke is popular here and often times sells out before the afternoon.

Message: This is not a fancy market by any means, but it is a friendly casual place to experience local produce.. My new favourite salsa is from this market; Paradise Salsa (a locally made product).. There are carts always available here and plenty of parking. The staff are helpful and efficient.. They also sell a local Mountain Apple macadamian nut brand in sealed packs for 45% less than the light blue well-known brand sold at other markets. They make great souvenir gifts for people back home without the extra cost and weight.. I am glad that I found this place to shop at.
