Message: Super friendly family business, was definitely a place were all the locals go, Would not have know this place existed if it wasn’t for the locals! There was a line out the door by the time we got our food around 12:15pm. We got a plate with Chicken, rice and Mac salad. Both my fiancé and I thought it was very good and the Mac salad was amazing! Would recommend if looking for a place for lunch!

Message: Small mom and pop, take put place. Good food and welcoming atmosphere. Old time plantation dishes. Dont know why but my kid rares their spam misubi #1. Go early cause sometimes get line when you after 2. And sometimes they sell out fast. Even when they make abundance of there popular dish they still run out.

Message: I’m sorry but we ate at Merriams the night before and came to Nagasako Okazuya for lunch and hands down prefer Nagasako! I had to write this even before finishing my food (pork and peas) - it’s that good. Wanted to try it all. Delicious local comfort food in good portions. A elderly local after me rubbed his tummy while saying “give me my favorite beef stew! ” On another trip here for spam musubi, I noticed the little lady at the front the store greet some customers like family and she told me she always prays for those less fortunate. I’m a visitor but this place feels like a wonderful example of Maui culture and so many local customers seem to prove it. Now I need to take a nap for a happy stomach!
