Message: I really liked this place and the tea cookies.. Make sure you go by October 30, as it will be their last day.. It's so sad, that old school places like this are closing. But I am grateful I could try it before it shut down.. The line moved quickly and selection was limited due to its upcoming closure. The workers were friendly and efficient.

Message: Brings back childhood memories. Best tea cookies on the island.

Message: I Loved the fact that the shop is set up simply organized, and served me even though I walked in a few minutes before closing. I felt appreciated, being their customer. I enjoyed the display of family history of their plantation life, and nostalgia.. kerosene latern, old tin storage cans, pictures. This was evidence of a long time Hawaii family business. Good Job!

Message: It's always a pleasant experience when I come here. The ladies who work here are so friendly and helpful. Every cookie here is delicious! My favorites and must trys are the Poi and Coconut and the Kawara cookies. They also sell Taro chips in a variety of flavors, a variety of arare, and different types of mui fruits. During the holiday seasons, they always have cute holiday themed baskets and gifts. I wish I could find their cookies in stores across Hawaii, but it goes to show that when I'm craving, which almost always, I'll make that drive from the North Shore because it's worth it.

Message: Yummy senbei. Tried a new flavor - kabocha spice and it was delicious. Also was offered factory rejects at a substantial discount. Needless to say they were just as delicious (not sure why they were considered rejects).
